UConn charity All-Star game

Caron Butler, Ray Allen, Ricky Moore, Nadav Henefeld, Rip Hamilton, Kalid El-Amin, Doron Sheffer, Kevin Freeman, Travis Knight and Chris Smith to name but a few. All the past UConn greats in one place going head to head in every UConn basketball fan's dream game. Good times, good times. Of course, they said "NO DIGITAL CAMERA'S ALLOWED!" How was I going to sneak it thru security when they were giving everyone a pretty thorough pat down? How about just hold the camera in my hand and hope they are too busy looking for hidden contraband they don't even notice. Heh Heh Heh, and it worked!

Props go out to Wild Bill (the best around) and Jen Caneria for getting us tickets to the game and setting the whole event up (our trip down, not the actual game). Here they are outside the casino ready to win some money! Which Jen did, FOR ME. Not being in a gambling mood, I decided to sit back and watch her and Matt (her brother) play some roulette. Since she was pretty new to the whole gambling experience she was the good luck charm, after she won a couple bucks I asked her to pick a number between 1 and 36. She choose 14 and I threw down $5 on 14. Lo and behold, the little ball stopped on #14 and I was $180 richer. THANKS JEN!
It turns out that Morty Seinfeld is a big UConn fan. We hung out at Ben and Jerrys and discussed the joys of living at DEL BOCA VISTA!
Getting ready to go into the game. Behind that giant lens flash is a picture of Jim Calhoun from the 1999 National Champion team.
Coach Calhoun welcomes everyone to the game. When one guy yelled out "I can't hear you!" He responded "If I was telling you to get your ass on defense you'd hear me!".
It was great to see all of the UConn players on the floor at once. No longer did I have to wonder what it would be like if Caron Butler and Ricky Moore played on the same team. Or how Ray Allen would do against Rip Hamilton. All in all, a GREAT night.
It's not the greatest picture in the world, but you get the basic idea of how the Mohegan Sun Casino Arena looks on the inside.
