Kirk's piece of The American Dream

The American Dream is alive and well! I've closed on the condo and check here to how my place changes and evolves over time.
First things first, I'll be living in East Windsor. If you're up for a look, take a peek at Google Maps. The complex has got a great layout and as an added bonus it's right across from my buddy Sara Ward's pad. Location wise, it's close to the highway and shopping. At the same time it's surrounded by old tobacco fields that will make for some great bike riding in the nicer months.
Buying a home was way out of my experience but thankfully I was told to contact Julie, a realtor with Prudential Connecticut. The two of us had many misadventures in my search, laughing most of the way thru them. Working with her I met Stacy over at Connecticut Mortgage Services. I wish it was every day a pretty girl gave me $170,000! For closing I used my buddy's sister, Trish at David Marder and Associates. What a small world, Trish graduated high school with the seller of my condo. Wait, there's more... When her and Mike (her husband) lived in Tolland one of their neighbors was Julie!
Now that I am officially in, there is a lot of work to do. Noelle and Mom helped me paint the place. They did a fantastic job! Adam was able to come by and help me with some of the electical work I wanted to have looked up. And him and Eric learned how heavy my furnature really was. :-) Also, Mom helped calm me down when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the little things that needed fixing.
All moved in! I still need some decorations, but check the place out :-)
