Thankfully all the bad beer I drank let me forget most of this movie.
This is a truly forgettable film starring AT & T pitchman Carrot Top.
It was much more fun running around my (new) apartment entertaining my guests than
following what went on the TV. The saddest part, it had all the makings of a true classic…
- Carrot Top - This is going to shock you, but he is a FUNNY guy.
Seriously, I saw him in Vegas a few years ago and couldn't stop laughing.
- Estelle Harris (George Costanza's mom) - It's good to see that all the Seinfeld cast
are having such successful careers now that the show is done.
- Larry Miller - I have to admit that I do find this guy funny
(and not just his articles on the Weekly Standard)
- Courtney Thorne-Smith - Moving back to the big screen after
lighting up the Fox Network with Melrose Place and Ally McBeal
- Raquel Welch - Why is she famous?
Here's the Plot:
Edison (Carrot Top) is a fun-loving idiot that likes to invent things. His evil
landlady, Ms. Costanza is out for the rent so Edison has to get a job. Luckily he
helps the right guy at the right time and inherits a company that invents things.
How lucky for him! Naturally Larry Miller is kinda peeved about this and tries to
get Edison to fail (in cahoots with Raquel Welch). Courtney Thorne-Smith plays the
uptight Vice President who, wouldn't you know it, loosens up and falls for Edison.
Never would have guessed that would you? Naturally Edison succeeds and everyone is
happy. Except Larry Miller, that is. Lesson learned kids: Be good!
MY PICK:
If you think you would enjoy sitting through an hour and a half of Carrot Top's
AT & T ads then this is the movie for you. If not... Tune in the WNBA game instead.
